Per ricordare i 109 anni di esposizione dello squalo Carlotta, il Civico Museo di Storia Naturale, in collaborazione con ecothema, organizza una visita guidata sabato 30 maggio alle ore 10 a Trieste, in via dei Tominz 4.
Il grande esemplare venne catturato il 29 maggio del 1906 nel golfo del Quarnero, quindi imbalsamato presso il Museo di Storia Naturale e risulta ancora oggi il più grande squalo bianco al mondo visibile in un museo.

THE INCREDIBLE SHARK CARLOTTA
To celebrate 109 years of exposure of Shark Carlotta, the Civic Museum of Natural History, in collaboration with ecothema, organizes on Saturday May 30th at 10 am a guided tour in Trieste, via dei Tominz 4.
The large animal was captured on 29 May 1906 in the Gulf of Quarnero, then embalmed at the Museum of Natural History of Trieste, and is still today the greatest white shark in the world to be visible in a museum.
